15-16. Yüzyıl Göçlerinin Osmanlı İskân Yapısına Etkisi?

Abstract

Tahrir defterleri çerçevesinde Anadolu'nun çeşitli şehir ve sancaklarını çalışan araştırmacıların hem fikir olduğu konu 16. yüzyıl Anadolu'sunda bir nüfus artışı yaşandığıdır. Genel itibariyle araştırmacıların ekseriyeti, çalıştıkları bölgelerdeki nüfusun yüzyıl içerisinde iki katına çıktığını ifade etmekte ve aşırı bir nüfus artışından bahsetmektedirler. Mevcut nüfus artışına karşın, Türkiye sınırları içinde kalan bölgeler için yapılmış olan tahrir çalışmalarında, demografik, ekonomik ve yerleşme açısından çok önemli olan göç konusu ya hiç incelenmemiş ya da istatistiklere yer verilmeden sadece bir iki paragraf bahsedilerek geçiştirilmiştir. Buradan hareketle, bu çalışmada özellikle Sivas ve çevresine gelen göçmenler ekseninde 15-16. Yüzyıl göçlerinin Osmanlı iskân yapısına etkisi değerlendirilecektir.

The researchers who study the different cities and sanjacks in the Anatolia in the frame of the tahrir registers, agreed about that a population growth was happened in the 16th century Anatolia. Generally many of the researchers expressed that the population in the regions that they study,redoubled in the century and also they tell about an extreme population growth. In spite of population growth in the studies that were done for the regions in Turkey, the migration subject, which is important for settlement, demografics and economy, isn't examined or only told by one or two paragraphs without telling any statistics. So in this study espicially in the frame of the immigrants who came to the Sivas and its environments, the effect of the migrations in the 15th -16th centuries on the Ottoman settlement structure will be evaluated.
