17 $\alpha$ - Metiltestosteron'un kılıçkuyruk ( Xiphophorus helleri Heckel,1848 ) balıklarında büyüme üzerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Kılıçkuyruk (Xiphophorus helleri H. 1848) balıklarında 17 $\alpha$ -methyltesterone (Hoc-MT) hormonunun büyüme üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Ortalama ağırlıkları 0.06±0.003 gr olan kılıçkuyruk balıklarında 90 gün süreyle 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 ve 40 mg /kg 17 $\alpha$ -MT yeme karıştırılarak adlibitum olarak verildi. Denemede balıkların boy ve ağırlıklarında meydana gelen gelişmeler ayda bir kez ölçülmüştür. Deneme sonucu, 15 ve 30 ppm 17 $\alpha$ -MT hormonunun Kılıçkuyruk balığının vücut boy ve ağırlığını arttırdığını göstermiştir.

The research of the effect of 17 $\alpha$ - methyltestosterone on the growth of swordtail fish (Xiphophorus hellen H. 1848). In this study, the effect of 17 a- methyltesterone (17 $\alpha$ -MT) on the growth of swordtail fish (Xiphophorus helleri H. 1848) was investigated. Swordtail fish (mean weight of fish was 0.06±0.003 g) was fed adlibitum with 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 mg/kg 17 a- MT containing feed for 90 days establishing control groups. During this period, the increases of the length and weight were measured every amonth. The results showed that, 15 and 30 ppm 17 $\alpha$ - MT containing feed cause to increase body length and weight of swordtail fish.
